Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS. The role covers estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination from concept through construction handoff.

The position is fully remote with interview discussions on location expectations. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in HV projects and strong leadership in preconstruction processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or PM.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for high-voltage projects from 12kV to 500kV+.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception to turnover.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze designs and bid documents.
• Manage client and stakeholder communications and kickoff meetings.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Collaborate to develop detailed project schedules and identify long-lead equipment.
