Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, and BESS. The role is fully remote and focuses on planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept to handoff.

The ideal candidate has ~7+ years in electrical construction, HV projects, and estimating, with strong proficiency in project management tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• Approximately 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and industry standards and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage projects 12kV to 500kV+.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligning with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals; ensure alignment with estimates and schedules.
