Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join its People and Culture team for a remote internship from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027. Work up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with eligibility for residents in MS and other listed states.

The role covers recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and HR operations under supervision. You will gain real-world HR experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to HR systems while contributing to meaningful HR

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Incoming Junior or Senior status required.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Help maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
• Contribute to HR process improvement and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
