Advocate Health is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join the People & Culture team in a remote arrangement. The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week during Mon-Fri business hours.

The position supports recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and HR operations in a real-world healthcare setting. Candidates must be enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
• Help maintain employee records and HR databases
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives
• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis
• Contribute to HR process improvements and documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team
• Gain practical experience in core HR functions
