Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern for a remote internship from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations while working up to 40 hours per week from home.

Applicants must be enrolled as a junior or senior in a Bachelor's program in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, with a GPA of at least 2.5.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
• Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
• Help maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
• Contribute to HR documentation and process improvements.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
