Job summary

Advocate Health invites a motivated Human Resources Intern to join the People & Culture team for a summer internship. Work will be remote, with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday.

The internship runs from May 31, 2027, to August 6, 2027, and offers mentorship from experienced HR professionals and exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations. You will support posting jobs, screenings, interviews, onboarding, and HR reporting, while building experience across core HR functions in

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
• Contribute to HR process improvements and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
• Gain exposure to HR systems and tools.
• Network within the organization.
