Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager. This fully remote role leads HV preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, and BESS projects from concept through turnover.

You will manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and risk, while coordinating with clients and internal teams to align strategies with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Approximately 7+ years in electrical construction, HV projects, estimating, or PM.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, solar, BESS, or industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for HV electrical projects from concept through handoff.
• Manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and internal teams for proposals and kickoff.
• Develop execution strategies and ensure alignment with client objectives.
• Oversee procurement strategy and long-lead equipment planning.
