Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS.

This fully remote role drives planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy from concept through construction handoff. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, and clients to develop execution plans, assess risks, and align project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• ~Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• ~ Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• ~ Electrical codes and industry standards
• ~ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Serve as the primary preconstruction point of contact for clients, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings and stakeholder alignment sessions.
