Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS.

The role is fully remote with travel to project sites as needed and focuses on planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept to handoff. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to develop detailed project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of electrical construction or PM experience.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, BESS, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high‑voltage projects (12kV–500kV+) from concept through handoff.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and internal teams to align objectives and deliverables.
• Develop risk-adjusted project schedules and monitor critical path milestones.
• Ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans during procurement and procurement handoffs.
