Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager for a fully remote role. You will lead HV preconstruction for substations, transmission lines, and BESS from concept to turnover, coordinating planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.

You will develop cost estimates, review designs and bid docs, manage risk, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure successful project delivery across nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in electrical construction high-voltage projects, estimating or PM.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities preferred.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, BESS or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for HV projects from 12kV to 500kV+ and manage planning, budgeting, scheduling.
• Develop execution strategies, manage procurement, risk, and client coordination.
• Coordinate deliverables from inception through turnover with internal stakeholders.
• Review designs, bid documents, labor, equipment, and material pricing; develop takeoffs.
• Lead kickoff meetings, maintain client relationships, and pursue proposals.
