Job summary

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system, is expanding its US SME footprint. In this role you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding, translating complex fintech into clear business value for customers.

You’ll build expertise across payments, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management to drive revenue growth, partnering with legal, finance, and strategy to move opportunities forward.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle fintech sales experience or proven success selling into finance departments.
• A track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment.
• Experience selling to ecommerce, SaaS, or subscription businesses, spend management or finance teams, or other tech-enabled/professional services businesses.
• A consistent track record of pipeline generation and outbound prospecting.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and sales enablement tools.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, close, onboarding, and early customer success.
• Build deep expertise across payments acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management to help SME and Growth customers solve complex financial challenges.
• Drive revenue growth by positioning Airwallex’s financial technology suite around clear customer and business value.
• Partner with legal, finance, strategy, and technology partners to move opportunities forward and support strong customer outcomes.
• Improve the sales motion by developing new verticals, documenting best practices, representing Airwallex at relevant industry events, and setting a high standard through strong performance and teamwork.
