Job summary

Handshake is seeking a Support Specialist, Contractor, to provide expert email, phone, and video support for employers, students, and career services users. This 6-month contract may extend or convert to a permanent role based on fit and company needs.

You will work closely with the Support Team to ensure a seamless user experience, unblock users, and share insights with cross-functional partners to improve operations. Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise support or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to explain complex topics in simple language.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule from a US location.

Responsibilities

• Provide email and phone support to Handshake customers.
• Resolve 20–30 email tickets per day and ~10 calls in a 4 hour shift.
• Collaborate with Support, Success, Product and Engineering teams to improve the customer experience.
