Job summary

Handshake is seeking a Contract Support Specialist to provide email, phone, and video support to our employer, student, and career services users. This 6-month contract may extend or convert based on fit and business needs.

As a hands-on technical advisor, you will troubleshoot complex workflows, unblock users, share insights with cross-functional teams, and help shape the Handshake user experience for a growing community of customers and Handshake AI fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide email, phone and video support to Handshake users.
• Handle ~20–30 email tickets per day and ~10 calls in a 4-hour shift.
• Resolve questions, bugs and inquiries 90% of the time; manage ticket queues.
• Attend 1–3 team meetings weekly and perform basic admin tasks.
• Collaborate with Support, Success, Product and Engineering to improve the customer experience.
