Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET radio systems and a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force requirements. The role emphasizes field demos, interoperability, and a strong customer-facing posture.

The position involves up to 50% travel, flexible remote work depending on location, and close collaboration with the Applications Engineering and BD teams to advance strategic objectives and program

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical comms systems preferred.
• RF test equipment familiarity (spectrum analyzers etc.) expected.
• Eligible for US Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Mansioni

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate on technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Coordinate with BD to meet strategic priorities and stakeholder needs.
• Develop and present technical demos for various environments.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network architectures.
• Gather field feedback to inform product roadmaps and progress tracking.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
