Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for US Air Force programs. You’ll bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements and coordinate with engineering and BD teams.

Role involves field tests, demonstrations, and frequent travel; candidate must possess or obtain U.S. SECRET clearance and be a U.S. citizen. A remote working option may be available based on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Network engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or HS diploma with 5+ years defense tech experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and field testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to ensure sound solution architectures and demonstrations.
• Support business development with technical inputs for proposals.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
