Job summary

Silvus Technologies, part of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USAF requirements. The role spans airborne, surface, and expeditionary networks with up to 50% travel and a flexible remote option.

You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability, track field feedback, and translate needs into product roadmap inputs while collaborating with DoD stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure, and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectural soundness and benchmark data.
• Support BD with technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Develop demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
