Job summary

UpGuard is seeking a dynamic Customer Sales Engineer to act as the primary technical and product expert for the Account Management team. You will drive activation during renewal and expansion with existing customers, supporting trials and POCs, and aligning technical solutions with business goals.

The role requires 3+ years in a customer-facing post-sales technical capacity, deep cybersecurity knowledge, and strong communication skills to translate complex tech into business value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing, post-sales technical role such as Renewals-focused Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant.
• Strong sales acumen and ability to operate in a revenue-driven environment.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity/GRC landscape and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical and product expert for the Account Management team during renewals and upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate advanced technical value and architect solutions for existing customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, CS, and Product to improve trial/POC experiences and drive growth.
