Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. This fully remote, full-time role focuses on delivering and expanding coding education programs for coders and clinicians across multiple specialties, with emphasis on adult learning principles and scalable training delivery.

You will collaborate with Coding Leadership and IT to design, implement, and refine training, tracking progress and outcomes while maintaining current industry standards.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Strong ability to teach coding concepts to coders and clinicians.
• Experience delivering both in-person and virtual education programs.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education programs for initial training and continuing education.
• Develops educational materials, tools and presentations for coders and clinicians.
• Schedules and optimizes education offerings using Learning Connection, ATMS, Skype or Teams.
• Creates web-based coding education programs and tracks learner progress.
