Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams, delivering both in-person and virtual education for coders and clinicians. The role emphasizes adult learning principles and ongoing program development.

The position is full-time and fully remote (Mon-Fri) with a flexible schedule, requiring AHIMA/AAPC or equivalent certification and prior coding experience in specialty areas.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5 years of experience in medical coding that includes physician revenue cycle processes.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Coding education and instructor experience with adult learning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding and documentation education for initial training and continuing education to coders and clinicians.
• Develops and maintains web-based coding education programs and tracks progress.
• Schedules and delivers in-person and virtual training using Learning Connection/Teams.
