Advocate Health is seeking an educator/trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role emphasizes designing and delivering coding education for coders and clinicians, with remote, flexible scheduling.

The position requires 5+ years in medical coding, AHIMA or AAPC certifications, and ability to work across virtual and in-person formats while maintaining current coding education programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical coding with physician revenue cycle experience.
• Expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Ability to develop and deliver coder education to coders and clinicians.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT, Org development and Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Present coding education, both in person and virtually, for training and continuing education.
• Identify coding education needs and tailor programs with leadership input.
• Stay current on adult learning concepts and schedule education offerings.
• Develop web-based coding education programs and track learner progress.
• Create and update course content, objectives, and delivery methods.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for supervisors and leads.
