Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC is seeking a Capture Manager to drive federal opportunities from qualification through transition to proposal. This experienced individual contributor will coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams and shape capture strategies.

You will partner with Growth, solution architects, pricing, contracts, and recruiting to ensure timely, competitive proposals. Strong Shipley methodology, market research, and risk mitigation are essential in a remote, nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting or managing capture activities within the federal government contracting environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams throughout the business development, capture, or proposal lifecycle.
• Experience supporting federal RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, or similar procurement activities.
• Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Manages capture activities for assigned federal opportunities from qualification through transition to proposal.
• Develops and maintains capture plans using established capture processes and Shipley Capture Management best practices.
• Coordinates cross-functional pursuit teams and ensures capture activities, assignments, milestones, and deliverables remain on track.
• Provides regular updates to Growth and Business Unit leadership regarding capture progress, risks, blockers, competitive positioning, and support needed.
• Works with account and Growth teams to understand customer missions, priorities, acquisition strategies, and procurement timelines.
• Supports development and response activities for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other federal procurement activities.
• Participates in gate reviews and contributes to technical, management, staffing, pricing, and overall pursuit strategy.
