Job summary

For People is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to own pursuits across federal and state agencies, from qualification to submission, and to lead the bid with our proposal team. You will build relationships, set win strategy, and drive color-team reviews to a successful response.

Based in the United States, this role is 100% remote with preference for DC/MD/VA residents. Travel nationwide to client sites and events is required, with a base salary of $130,000–$185,000 and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in government capture, business development, or related roles.
• Experience owning a pursuit from qualification through submission.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own pursuits across federal and state agencies.
• Build and execute a call plan with program offices and partners.
• Translate customer and competitor intelligence into a win strategy.
• Engage customers through RFIs, sources-sought, statements, and demos.
• Identify teaming partners to fill gaps.
• Lead the bid through go/no-go and color-team reviews.
• Monitor multiple pursuits and capture lessons learned.
