Job summary

For People is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to own pursuits from qualification through submission. You will shape the win strategy, lead the bid with the proposal team, and coordinate with program offices, contracting officers, and partners to position the agency-facing work for success.

This role is 100% remote with a preference for candidates in the DC, MD, or VA area and requires travel to client locations, partner offices, and industry events nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in government capture, business development, or a closely related role.
• Experience owning a pursuit from qualification through submission, including win strategy and pricing.
• Comfort working directly with government stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Own pursuits across federal and state agencies from start to submission.
• Build and execute a call plan for each pursuit with program offices and partners.
• Turn customer and competitor intelligence into a win strategy and discriminators.
• Engage customers through RFIs, sources-sought, capability statements, and demos.
• Identify and bring teaming partners to fill capability or past-performance gaps.
• Lead the bid, run go/no-go and color-team reviews, and coordinate pricing with leadership.
• Manage multiple pursuits and capture lessons learned after decisions.
