Velora is seeking a seasoned Bookkeeper to join our fast‑growing Professional Services team. You will serve as a full-charge bookkeeper for multiple Medium clients, ensuring accurate, timely records and excellent customer experience while leveraging AI tools to raise accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities include managing payroll, donations, reconciliations, and period-end cleanups, with emphasis on autonomy and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years owning full-charge bookkeeping end-to-end.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Deep experience in nonprofit bookkeeping; applies judgment to keep books clean and compliant.
• Strong Excel skills; uses automation and AI support to move faster without sacrificing accuracy.
• Clear, direct communicator who flags risks early and keeps everyone aligned.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle of bookkeeping services for multiple Medium customers concurrently.
• Use AI-native tools to streamline workflows and deliver faster, more accurate results.
• Maintain an average of 70% of your working time spent on billable client work.
• Understand organizational needs and provide feedback, proposing solutions to enhance information clarity.
• Maintain a high customer net promoter score by building positive relationships and proactive communication.
• Adhere to established processes to ensure robust financial controls.
• Identify areas for process improvement and participate in knowledge-sharing with teammates.
