Job summary
A school dining service is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to maintain records of business transactions. This role is remote and involves customer interaction, resolving complaints, and assisting with financial reports. Ideal candidates should have experience in school environments. Pay is $12 per hour, with both part-time and full-time benefits available. Applicants will be welcomed on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints.
- Represents the company in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Assists Controller with reports and weekly closing procedures.
- Verifies, allocates and posts details of business transactions.
- Summarizes details in separate ledgers and transfers data to the general ledger.
- Compiles records to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures.
- Calculates employee wages from time cards.
