Kendall Hunt Publishing Company is seeking an Acquisitions Sales Representative to build relationships with college professors and identify author candidates. You will travel regionally, interview educators, and persuade top candidates to collaborate with Kendall Hunt on engaging course materials.

The role is remote with periodic campus visits; strong communication, relationship-building, and sales abilities are essential for success in higher education partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication and sales skills.
• Willingness to travel ~3 weeks per semester.
• Ability to interview, assess business potential and persuade candidates.

Responsibilities

• Interview professors and identify strong author candidates.
• Call on and travel to colleges/universities within territory.
• Develop partnerships with educators and departments to source Kendall Hunt authors.
• Persuade candidates to work with Kendall Hunt and represent the company on campuses.
• Build lasting relationships with professors and institutions.
