Job summary

Kendall Hunt Publishing is seeking an Acquisitions Sales Representative who will travel to colleges and universities, interview professors, and persuade author candidates to work with Kendall Hunt. This remote role requires weekly travel and a preference for candidates in West Virginia, with a bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license.

You will build partnerships, identify opportunities, and help develop interactive educational materials while meeting sales goals in your territory.

Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor's degree and likes spending time on college campuses.
• Excellent communication and sales skills with ability to interview and persuade professors.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to colleges and universities in the assigned territory to identify business opportunities.
• Interview professors and persuade author candidates to work with Kendall Hunt.
• Develop lasting partnerships with educators and drive acquisition of authors for Kendall Hunt materials.
