Job summary

Axon is seeking a Professional Services Engineer for 911 Systems to drive deployment of cloud call-handling solutions for US-based customers. This remote role requires deep VoIP expertise, AWS proficiency, and strong project leadership to deliver complex implementations.

You’ll train customers, work with engineering on solutions, and maintain active customer relations across teams, often traveling up to 50% to client sites and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in a technical role related to VoIP (PBX, call center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience planning, executing and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• Work with customers to understand needs and ensure successful implementations.
• Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer during deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering on complex solutions and troubleshooting.
• Be a trusted advisor to customers and provide post-implementation support.
