Job summary

Axon seeks a Pro Services Engineer, 911 Systems, to lead end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling platforms. You will guide customers through implementations, provide advanced training, and work with engineering on complex solutions.

The role is fully remote in the United States with up to 50% travel, requiring strong communication, project management, and VoIP experience to deliver scalable, high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in a VoIP-related technical role (PBX/Call Center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and the OSI model.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• Work closely with customers to understand needs and ensure successful implementations.
• Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer to customers during deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering on complex technical solutions and troubleshooting.
• Be a trusted advisor to customers and provide ongoing deployment support, including after-hours work.
• Improve deployment processes and documentation for efficiency and scalability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support for seamless delivery.
