Job summary

Corewell Health in Evart, MI is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Representative to join the Family Medicine team. You will handle registration, concierge, and clerical tasks, helping patients navigate their visit and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The role requires a high school diploma and about two years of related experience.

You’ll work 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays with variable weekends, and you may assist in training new staff while supporting EMR/EHR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex patient/customer problems during registration and in treatment rooms.
• Perform administrative tasks including check-out, scheduling referrals, in-office procedures, surgeries, tests, and medical record review.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Process EMR/EHR scanning and EPIC uploads via Right Fax.
• Assist with training new team members using standard work.
• Act as Patient Services Representative, Associate when needed.
• Support safety initiatives and complete required competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
