UnitedHealth Group’s Optum division seeks an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our care-delivery team in Jacksonville, FL. You will support the care team by verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting copays and coordinating patient information with providers and staff.

This role emphasizes patient-centered service, HIPAA compliance, and Lean processes. You’ll work Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, helping the team meet clinical, financial and service goals while delivering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years computer experience with Outlook, Excel, Word.
• 1+ years medical front office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect updated information.
• Verify insurance on date of service.
• Schedule appointments and procedures efficiently.
• Assist with check-in/out and copay collection.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and coordinate with care team.
