Job summary

Optum is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role provides front office support, verifies insurance, schedules appointments, and coordinates care across the clinic.

You will work Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST, in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple sites, with emphasis on patient safety, confidentiality, and Lean processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency experience (multi-tasking through multiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word)

Responsibilities

• Provide reception and clerical support in the clinic's front office
• Ensure all locations are welcoming and adhere to brand guidelines
• Manage office supplies, facility management and upkeep
• Support multiple facilities as needed
• Support patient safety as part of care team
• Triage patient questions, complaints and concerns
• Answer incoming calls and return voicemails timely
• Assist in updating and/or scheduling existing patient appointments and internal referrals with providers
• Process payments for co-pays, deductibles, self-pay, etc.
