Job summary

Axiom Technologies in West Jordan, Utah is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for end users in the client environment. This independent contractor role focuses on timely ticket triage, hardware and software troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

You will install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and enterprise software, with emphasis on Windows OS, networking basics, and strong communication to coordinate with the Service

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers).
Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in onsite support environments.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
