Job summary

Axiom Technologies in West Jordan, Utah is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for end users in the client environment. This independent contractor role focuses on timely ticket triage, hardware and software troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

You will install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and enterprise software, with emphasis on Windows OS, networking basics, and strong communication to coordinate with the Service

Qualifications

We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate tasks, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role provides on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate manner to ensure optimal service delivery.

The Desktop Support Engineer provides first- and second-level technical support and manages the efficient assignment and dispatch of service requests. This on-site role ensures end-user issues are resolved promptly - either directly or by coordinating with other technicians - by triaging tickets, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining strong communication between IT and users.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
