Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This contract-based, on-demand role involves resolving Windows desktop, hardware, and peripheral issues at client locations, with emphasis on rapid response and accurate service delivery.

The role requires hands-on hardware installation, network troubleshooting (LAN), and adherence to client security policies.

Qualifications

Experience supporting Windows desktops in enterprise environments.
Ability to diagnose and repair desktop hardware and peripherals.
On-site, independent contractor with strong communication.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
