Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support at client locations. This contract-based role covers Windows desktops, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices, with on-demand assignments and immediate start.

Responsibilities include hands-on hardware setup, troubleshooting, and coordination with the service delivery team, while adhering to client security policies and reporting progress as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
