Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency management and ensuring smooth cash flow.

As an onsite leader, you will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income from applicants, residents, and non-residents accurately.
• Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivable.
• Monitoring and following up on bad debt; sending late notices and evictions where applicable.
• Aiding the property in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident accounts and bill backs of utilities where applicable.
• End-of-month closing procedures and reporting; maintaining organized records.
