Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial tasks at the housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision.

You will manage rent collection, lease administration, and staff leadership while ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines. The role requires onsite presence and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience with leasing and property management processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from residents and applicants accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, contact residents and guarantors, and assist with evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Maintain records, audit resident files, and manage end-of-month close.
