Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and finances of a multifamily housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency control and cash-flow optimization while guiding staff and maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities include posting and reconciling payments, supervising leasing, marketing strategies, and resident relations; ensuring accurate records, audits, and timely reporting—alongside

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from applicants, residents, and others.
• Process and reconcile daily all accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist meeting budgeted revenues/expenses and NOI targets.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Handle end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files for accuracy.
• Walk units, post move-out charges, and handle security deposits.
• Lead onsite staff development and ensure policy compliance.
• Implement leasing strategies and marketing plans; drive resident retention.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
