Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, accounts receivable, lease administration, and budget adherence while supervising onsite staff and ensuring compliance with fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately from applicants, residents, and non-current residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitoring and following up on bad debt and evictions as needed.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident accounts and bill backs of utilities where applicable.
• End-of-month closing procedures and reporting.

Education
