Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administration while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes delinquency management, revenue optimization, and hands-on leadership to preserve the property's cash flow and overall performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under Community Manager supervision.
• Supervise onsite staff; ensure leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks are performed.
• Manage accounts receivable, posting payments, and rent collection processes.
• Monitor budgeted revenues/expenses and Net Operating Income; support financial reporting.
• Lead end-of-month close processes and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct property inspections, ensure safety and compliance with policies.
