Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk, and ensure compliance with policies and Fair Housing guidelines at the Benbrook, TX property.

The role emphasizes delinquency control, accurate reporting, and resident satisfaction. Onsite leadership requires strong organization and communication. Benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under Community Manager supervision.
• Assist with delinquency management and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Support leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management activities.
• Ensure timely end-of-month close and accurate recordkeeping.
• Represent property in a professional manner and promote resident satisfaction.
