Job summary

Asset Living in Hoover, AL is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financials under the Community Manager. The role focuses on delinquency management, rent collection, and ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines on site.

You will supervise staff, support leasing and marketing, manage end-of-month closings, and help meet budgeted revenues and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager.
• Post payments, reconcile receivables, and manage rent collections.
• Supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, safety, and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Support budgeting, leasing, maintenance, and risk management; ensure on-site staffing development.
• Meet budgeted revenues and NOI; supervise end-of-month closings and reporting.
