Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent oversight for complex technology implementations and modernization programs. You will evaluate governance, controls, risk, schedule performance, and overall delivery, delivering objective assessments and executive-ready reports.

The role combines project management with IV&V responsibilities, requiring experience in governance, PMO practices, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technology implementation, modernization, system integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• 2+ years of IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance, project oversight, audit, or comparable independent assessment activities.
• Experience evaluating project governance, management practices, risks, issues, schedules, delivery readiness.
• Strong analytical, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Remote position with up to 30% travel based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior level contributor or project manager on projects.
• Manage resource allocation and coordinate with senior management.
• Act as central interface for project issues and client expectations.
• Ensure compliance with standards and forecasted costs.
• Lead IV&V engagements supporting modernization and system integration.
• Develop findings, executive briefings, and client deliverables.
• Mentor junior analysts and support practice growth.
