Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent oversight and assessment of complex technology initiatives. This role blends traditional project management with IV&V responsibilities to evaluate governance, controls, risk, schedule performance, and delivery effectiveness.

The successful candidate will guide engagements, deliver objective recommendations, and report to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
5+ years of experience leading technology implementation, modernization, system integration, or digital transformation.
2+ years performing IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance, or independent assessment activities.
Experience evaluating project governance, management practices, risks, issues, schedules, delivery readiness.
Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead IV&V engagements for technology implementations and modernization programs.
Coordinate assessment activities including document reviews, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and operational reviews.
Assess governance, risk, schedule performance, and readiness; provide actionable findings to clients.
Develop findings, executive briefs, reports, and client-facing deliverables.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to business development and practice growth.
