Job summary

RSM is seeking a Managed IT Service Desk Intern within Technology Consulting. You will provide remote technical support to external managed service clients, work with consultants, and gain exposure to Office 365, Windows Servers, and networks.

Travel to client locations up to 25% is required. You will be pursuing a Bachelor' s degree in MIS/CS/IT and should demonstrate strong customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor' s degree in MIS, Computer Science or IT‑related concentration.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email technical support for end-users to resolve hardware or software issues.
• Support and troubleshoot workstations, servers and network related issues.
• Perform systems administration for Office 365, Windows Servers, and workstations across multiple clients.
• Adapt to changing processes and technology and work well in a team.
• Document support issues and resolution steps in the ticketing system.
• Escalate client issues through proper channels and monitor case priorities.
• Maintain client security standards and confidentiality of information.
