Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an MTS Desk Intern in our Technology Consulting group in Irvine. You will provide remote technical support and work with a team of consultants across infrastructure, engineering, design and business to grow your IT career.

The role offers exposure to Office 365, Windows servers and client environments, with a focus on learning and professional development in a dynamic, client-facing setting. Travel to client locations is required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Passion for technology and willingness to learn
• Pursuing/holding a MIS/CS/IT degree with minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio) and Windows/Apple platforms

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email technical support for end-users to resolve hardware/software issues
• Troubleshoot workstations, servers and network-related issues
• Perform systems administration for Office 365, Windows Servers and workstations across clients
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Escalate issues through proper channels and monitor case progress
• Assist with backups, security standards, and confidentiality requirements
• Travel to client locations as needed (up to 25%)
