Job summary
RSM US LLP seeks a MTS Desk Intern in the Technology Consulting group to provide remote technical support for external managed service clients. You will work with seasoned consultants on diverse engagements, developing hands-on IT career experience across infrastructure, engineering, design, and business domains.
The role emphasizes strong technical ability, customer service, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS or related IT field and strong academic record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Office 365 workloads like Email/SharePoint is preferred.
- Familiarity with network/security gear (Firewalls) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote phone and email technical support for end-users.
- Troubleshoot workstations, servers, and network issues.
- Perform systems administration for Office 365 and Windows environments.
- Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Escalate issues properly and communicate with clients until resolved.
