Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking an Information Technology Application Support Analyst I for a contract role in Hoover, Alabama. You will provide troubleshooting, installation, and user training to ensure smooth operation of software systems and maintain high‑quality application support documentation.

Responsibilities include responding to end-user inquiries, performing root cause analyses, deploying patches and releases, and coordinating with senior staff to validate changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of relevant experience with HS diploma.
• Experience communicating technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to work with software users to resolve issues and improve functionality.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, installation, and training to software users.
• Maintain application support documentation to high quality standards.
• Respond to end-user inquiries and troubleshoot system software and operator issues.
• Monitor processes to identify problem trends and assist with implementations.
• Perform root cause analysis and deploy patches, releases, and customizations.
• Conduct application testing in different environments.
• Coordinate with senior staff to ensure work is reviewed and validated.
