Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC seeks an IT Support Manager to lead the Workplace Technology team at our Birmingham headquarters. This on-site role partners with Service Desk to deliver reliable end-user technology and best-in-class support for office environments.

You will oversee Tier 2 in-person support, device lifecycle management, conference room technology, and standards while driving improvements and vendor relationships to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer or information-related field preferred.
• Strong experience in Tier 2 in-person end-user support environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-user technology in an enterprise setting.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Workplace Technology team members.
• Ensure reliable support of end-user devices and collaboration technologies.
• Oversee conference room technology standards and lifecycle management.
• Drive root cause analysis and long-term issue resolution.
• Maintain device lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
• Partner with Facilities and stakeholders on office technology planning.
• Establish and maintain Tier 2 handoff processes.
• Monitor trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and workplace technology tools.
• Contribute to IT and business strategic planning.
